As you may remember from our previous blog post about our tutoring services, tutoring lessons are led by Isabela Chichom, our Project Tutor. She offers individualized attention to students struggling in -Spanish language and literacy, math, and science.
“We try to make it fun for them, we play math games, language games, we go outside and teach them different studying techniques,” Isabella says.
This week we asked a few of our PES students at Chukmuk Primary School:

The goal of the Primary Education Scholarship Project is to help students succeed in the classroom. Sometimes that means working with and encouraging kids after school.
“A lot of kids realize, halfway through the tutoring session, that they are actually able to learn and understand the material, and then they are more confident in class,” Isabela explained.
